Not that anybody cares, but Barbara Walters officially announced today that Whoopi Goldberg has been signed on to replace Rosie O”Donnell has co-host of The View. She”ll start co-hosting the day after Labor Day.

17-year-old Hayden Panettiere (the cheerleader from Heroes) was spotted running around the beach in her bikini again. Which isn”t really news, but I pretty much have to post every celebrity bikini picture I come across. I think it”s written into the U.S. Constitution. Right under the part about my arms being lethal killing machines and my eyes being pools of intrigue.
Nicole Richie confirms she’s pregnant

In an interview with Diane Sawyer, Nicole Richie confirmed for the first time that she”s pregnant with Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden”s baby, saying:
“Yes, I am. We are. I”m almost four months.”
